After passing through Asia, Oceania and Europe, the Euro-Brazilian Sustainable Development Council (EUBRA) presents the Rio Global Green Business to partners in the United States
The Euro-Brazilian Council for Sustainable Development (EUBRA), through its Chairman Robson Oliveira, from April 2nd to 5th has fulfilled one more international agenda for the event. This time, North American partners saw up close the details of the event which will gather from June 1st to 3rd in Rio de Janeiro, public managers, financial groups, clean technology and infrastructure companies to promote and facilitate the implement of these technologies, as well as to present clean initiatives from cities around the world.
The president of EUBRA participated in Boston, the MIT Latin American Conference, where they were present names like Sergio Cabral, governor of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Garnero, the Brasilinvest and Paulo Costa da Petrobrás.
In New York, Robson Oliveira presented the event to a few cleantech, wind turbines and LED lamps companies.
In Washington, the President of EUBRA had a meeting at the World Bank with Chandra Sinha, Head of Development for the Caribbean and Latin America.
At the Embassy of Brazil in Washington, Oliveira met with Secretary Marcelo Soares, to organize the invitations for the event among governmental entities in North America.
Closing the agenda, the president of EUBRA participated at the Microsoft – Public Sector Leaders Forum, together with Congressman Domingos Neto from the State of Ceará. Former President Lula also attended the event.
The visit to the United States is part of the event’s strategies to approach potential participants. Last year EUBRA went on a Road Show to Asia, Oceania and Europe. This year EUBRA presented the event at a Symposium in the Brazilian cities of Recife, Joao Pessoa and Brasilia, and now the United States Road Show.
